One of the hallmarks of our City is involving members of the community in the discussion of key issues. To assist with this process, the City Council appoints community members to a variety of Commissions and Advisory Boards.
Applications are now being accepted for the below commissions and boards:
- Economic Development Advisory
- Museum of San Carlos History Board of Directors
- Parks, Recreation and Culture
- Planning and Transportation*
Applying for a Seat
If you are interested in serving, please fill out the online Board and Commission Application. If you would like to have the application mailed to you, call the City Clerk's Office at (650) 802-4222.
Application Deadline and Important Dates
The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, May 10 at 4:00PM
All applicants are advised to save the below dates on their calendars. Applicants who are unable to attend the interview with the City Council will not be considered for appointment.
- Meeting with Staff – Tuesday, May 21 at 5:00PM
- Interview with City Council – Tuesday, June 4 – In the evening
In compliance with the Maddy Act, Government Code 54972, our Board and Commission Roster is available for viewing online, at City Hall and at our library.
