SAN CARLOS, CA – May 5, 2015 – Strengthening the City's long standing commitment to customer service, the City of San Carlos today launched Inform San Carlos, an innovative and easy-to-use tool for providing residents, businesses and visitors access to City services online using smartphones, tablets and computers.
Beginning today, residents will be able to submit, track and view service requests through their smartphones and online. Inform San Carlos will allow the City to improve resident communication and service delivery. Features such as GPS (Global Positioning System) and location services on mobile devices will allow the application to automatically identify issue locations. Users can also select a "request type," which ensures that the appropriate City department is notified. The application also provides request updates in real-time, ensuring follow through and resolution.
“The City of San Carlos is committed to providing high quality customer service in a responsive and friendly manner,” stated Mayor Ron Collins. “We believe that Inform San Carlos provides the community with a user-friendly online service that is convenient and effective, further enhancing communication between the City and those we serve.”
San Carlos launched the application in partnership with PublicStuff, an innovative civic software company headquartered in New York, who helps residents and local governments connect to improve the quality of life in their communities.
