The City's Information Technology Division is part of the Administrative Services Department, and provides telephone, data, computing, help desk, technology planning, procurement, project management, security, administrative services and GIS support to full-time and part-time employees spread over six facilities or service areas. Over the years the Information Technology Division has set high standards for itself in terms of service offerings and communications, not only as an internal service provider, but also with our community in meeting the requests of our customers.

Information Technology’s mission is to deliver, optimize, coordinate, secure and deploy the City of San Carlos’ communications and information technology resources to support the effective delivery of public services. Our service delivery objective is to provide the City of San Carlos with high-quality, cost effective and innovative services to better enable staff to work not only easier, but smarter.
