Redevelopment Agency
Overview
In accordance with California State Law, each redevelopment agency has a geographically defined “Project Area.” A portion of the property taxes from the properties within the project area goes to support the activities of the redevelopment agency. These redevelopment activities, with some limited exceptions for housing funds, must also occur within the project area.
