Healthy Cities School Tutoring Program The Healthy Cities Program is a unique City, School & Community Partnership. The Healthy Cities Tutoring Program is improving the education of our city's children through a tutoring program. Volunteers from the community are paired with students in the San Carlos School District to assist with homework, reading & writing, organization, and mentoring. The commitment is just one hour a week and you can make a huge difference in the life of a child. Join us and become a Volunteer Tutor! Tutors are asked to commit one hour per week for the 2008-09 school year to a child in need of academic and mentoring support. No experience is necessary. For more information, contact Donna Becht at 802-4319 or email: dbecht@cityofsancarlos.org.
