Housing Accessibility Modification (HAM)
Housing Accessibility Modification (HAM)- CID’s HAM program provides grants to low income disabled individuals and families for retrofitting their homes in order to make them accessible (handrails, ramps, etc.). This allows the client to remain in their current residence, thereby avoiding possible subsidies, homelessness or dislocation.
