Wheeler Plaza Redevelopment
Description of Project The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Carlos is looking to redevelop an approximately 1.5 acre site owned by the City that is located one block west of El Camino Real, immediately southwest of the intersection of San Carlos Avenue and Laurel Street. The Site is located directly behind prime retail frontage along Laurel Street and San Carlos Avenue.
The Redevelopment Agency also owns two parcels adjacent to Wheeler Plaza - a retail building on one side (fronting on San Carlos Avenue) with 3 stores and a 6 unit rental housing development on the other side of the parking plaza. These properties are also part of the Wheeler Plaza Redevelopment process.
