City Council Meeting Special City Council Meeting - Proposed Agreements to Contract for Police Services
 The City Council will hold a Special City Council Meeting on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 600 Elm Street to consider agreements relating to the proposal to contract for Police Services with the San Mateo County Sheriff. 

The Agenda and Staff Reports for that meeting are now available on the City's www.epackets.net web site.

Person Hiking Los Vientos Trails Proposal - Public Meeting - Sept 28th at 5:30 pm
 The public is invited and encouraged to attend a joint meeting of representatives from the City of San Carlos and the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District to discuss a proposal to create a trail access point at the foot of Los Vientos Way.

The meeting will be conducted "on-site" at the proposed access gate leading to the Pulgas Ridge Open Space, located where Los Vientos dead-ends.  The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28 at 5:30pm.

5 City Council Strategic Goals City Strategic Plan - New 6 Month Objectives
 On Friday, August 27, 2010, the City Council met with the City Manager and Department Directors for the 10th Strategic Goals retreat to review the City's Strategic Plan and establish strategic objectives to move forward the City's 5 Key Goals.

Here is a listing of these goals along with when they are slated for completion, who will take the lead on each objective and a description of each objective.

San Carlos Together 2010 Citywide Garage Sale - Sign Up Form Now on the Web
 San Carlos Together has posted the sign-up form for their 2010 Annual Citywide Garage Sale event.  This year's Citywide Garage Sale will be held on October 2nd and 3rd from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

Residents can sign up to participate in one or both days.   Click on the link below to access a Google Docs spreadsheet to sign up.

The purpose of the Zoning Ordinance Update is to comprehensively revise the citywide zoning regulations to shape future growth with community vision.  It will build upon the foundation of the recently adopted General Plan, Housing Element and Climate Action Plan.
